Day 9 - The Journey in Wonderment continues!

Still here. Con-sec-u-tiv-e days! 9 of em! Blogged for my pleasure! I am amazed at this. Almost didn't do it tonight...very late, much fun being had "not starving" good times indeed!

So, at the moment, it is sideways, but let's see if there is any mass outcry. I doubt it. SO. Here it stays. I like it. Blurry, sideways.Phantasmagoric! This is that elitist crap you read about! It has a meaning and if you dont understand than you are too STUPID. Ha ha ha. I am an arteest.

Day 8 - Peaky Blinders and over a week done.

Can't believe it! Over a week of solid resolution work. Expectations were low I must admit. So tonight I forgot to get an image of the white board, but hopefully it will be there monday? I hope it is, but no guarantee. Ah well.

So tonights doodle comes inspired by the Netflix show Peaky Blinders, set in 1919. I've always enjoyed that period and the style of the day if you will. Very Steampunkish, which I like. Do you care? no? Neither do I really. I am very tired so no B-Side. :p

Day 7 - Still on the road

Not too much, but it is here, created :D

Day 6, like rolling down a hill. Sufferin Suckatash!

Another day, still working on this. So far feeling pretty good about it. These days seem to be getting later and later. I'm finding that the white board drawings create a good bridge from work to home, a form of therapy in itself really. A way to destress. Sometimes the drive helps too, but this is almost a "farewell, see you tomorrow" sort of thing. A way to leave something for those who come before. Anyway, here is todays :D

Sufferin Suckatash...which, through the wonder of the internet, I found to be a milder replacement for Sufferin Savior. Interesting how the world works sometimes. I love the little nooks of knowledge you can find if you look in the right places. It isn't always online either.

PS - See "prim" explanation below :D

-----B-Side-----

So for the B-Side today( and maybe others...we shall see) I have decided to show the "finished" product of the day before(or todays, or whatever, it was the previous one) Co-workers embellish and express on the board as well and I always enjoy the back and forth and creativity that springs from it all. Note: Wednesday Addams is NOT Prim Dontcareaboutherlastname. So there. :p

Day is it?? 5? Why yes it is!

This is a good one in my mind. A work week in. The Whiteboards continue.

"Wednesday Wednesday"

This was suggested to be by a co-worker and it struck me as amazing. Despite the spelling error(craaaaaaaap) This is one of my recent favorites. I don't think many will get it but that is just fine by me. My only hope is to sneak in early tomorrow and change the error before most see it. Ugh. No B side today. I think I will reserve those for the weekend. Let's just get to 6 ok? Ok.

Day 4!! Rollin Rollin Rollin!

This is some sort of freak streak. 4 days and still on the same theme! This is the first of White Board Days in order.

This was, to say the least, and understatement. It was quite the day. Long and difficult but with a nice ending(plus a bonus nice because I am posting this! Go team!)

No B-side today...not sure if a B-side will be my sketch or something else? We shall see!

Day 3 - Amazing accomplishment!

Wow. Three days. That's three times longer than my last attempt! This resolution is rocking! Then why am I filled with so much doubt? Weekend drawings are easy. There is time. The true test will be this week. Add work and life to the mix. Let's see how things go.

"Down the River"

More abstract drawing today. Flowy and fidgety. Nothing of substance, but subtle things that take a once over to truly appreciate. Nothing profound or great really, just the mind wandering and I will leave it at that.

*-._ B-Side _.-*

"Jug"

You need more than that? Ok. I was attempting to draw stylized smoke but messed up so here is the B side of the day. Jug. Deal.

Day 2! We made it!

Isn't this something? I went two whole days of this new resolution. Better than last time. The word "whimsical" has been on my mind lately, and it may come into these sketches that I show.

"These lost and forgotten things"

We all one day will leave monuments of what we once were, however big or small. Those places and faces that we all touch and change and are changed by. That is what this is. Those lost and forgotten realms of those who came before, and all we can do is look at and wonder. One day that will be us. One day some curious wanderer may come upon our monuments, and although can sense and deduce our purpose and aim, they will never get our sense of our being in the moment. Sometimes I am afraid I think too much. It's just a silly little drawing for some silly resolution. Something to shift my focus when all my focus has been heavy things. Ah well.

Day 2 is done. Let's see how many more we can accomplish :D

Start. Stop. Start. Where is the time?

So this needs to happen. Now.

It's been what? Over a year since I "had to get back into this?"

Where is this desire?

I draw almost every day at work for a silly little white board. I think I will start posting them here for whatever reason, and then the weekend will be my time for "real art". I don't even know what that means any more. If something is created out of the imagination is that not art?

I just don't know anymore.

I hate new years resolutions. They never seem to pan out. It is the resolutions in the spur of the moment, those thought in the middle of the year.

This is not a new years resolution. This is just a resolution. A resolution to create, and share them here.

How many times has that been said? How many times has this been tried. I'll start with this backlog of images one will be seeing here, during the week at least.

The Goal? 52 works from my sketchpad, my mind, and my feelings. Thats 1 a week. I will try to do something every day and post it, but if not. Oh well. Let's get going again. Time to be alive.

As you can see. These are daily creations. Not all done by my hand, but I had some part(small or big) and it is my hope to continue this process as long as I can. I will share what I can, when I can, and make sure there are 52 weekly drawings. I hope this isn't the last post, let's see what happens tomorrow :D

._B-SIDES_.

What? This is still a thing(you ask of course)? Yes it is. Here you go :D
